Developed by a naturopathic physician and a midwife, this pocket-sized microscope measures patterns in a woman's saliva. (During fertile periods, saliva crystallizes into 'ferning patterns' as it dries because of elevated estrogen levels.) The device is easy to use: simply lick the lens each day and check your saliva through the microscope. (This can also work with cervical mucus).

Woman's Window (TM) was inspired by a similar device manufactured in Spain, called The Lens. The Lens (and similar indicators) are widely available in Europe; FDA approval is currently pending in the U.S.
